Curriculum

Our curriculum for Nursery to Year 6 is organised and delivered through the following approaches:

• English, Mathematics and Science are taught as core subjects
• French, Music and Physical Education are taught by specialist teacher
• Emotional well-being promoted through Values, Personal Social and Health Education, and Skills Builder
• Enrichment and deep learning nurtured through wider opportunities such as gardening, sports clubs, booster classes and a termly menu of extra-curricular activities

Aims

We want our students to progress by working through a carefully sequenced set of skills and essential knowledge that builds on what has come before.

Our curriculum is designed to help students develop knowledge and skills in all National Curriculum subjects, and it is underpinned by our four core values: Worth, Opportunity, Learning and Friendship.
