Federation Update

During January and February 2026, we held a formal consultation with parents/carers, staff and (in an age-appropriate way) pupils regarding the proposal to form a federation between Three Bridges Primary School and Wolf Fields Primary School.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to contribute. The feedback shared through meetings, written responses, and conversations has been thoughtful, detailed, and appreciated.

Both schools have now reviewed the consultation responses and officially approved the formal federation at their Spring governing board meetings.  

What happens next

The Federation Board will begin to form, with election of staff and parent governors to be helf in the summer term.  Co-Opted Governors will also be appointed. 

The first day of the federation will be 1 September 2026, at which point the Federation Board will take on the responsibility for governance of the schools and the two school-based governing boards will dissolve.
