Dear Wolf Fields Parents, Carers and families,
The Government has closed all Schools until further notice. Your child will receive remote lessons and learning provision from Wednesday 6th January 2021, via Google Classroom and from the School Website (and with paper packs as needed).
Please note that children MUST participate and complete their daily learning, as this is not optional learning.
Please regularly check the School Website and within Google Classroom for learning activities, and we will update you by email and text, and by phone calls to support families, as needed. Please do not hesitate to phone or email us for support or advice, at any time. We do appreciate that some families will be struggling with lack of devices or with internet access.
The school will only be open to children of essential workers and vulnerable groups from Wednesday 6th January – and these few children will complete the same lessons and learning provision at school, as all children working from home. This link explains the criteria for children of essential workers and vulnerable groups: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision#vulnerable-children-and-young-people
IMPORTANT MESSAGE IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE SCHOOL:
Please continue to remain vigilant and keep safe.
HANDS: wash your hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds.
FACE: wear a face covering in indoor settings where social distancing may be difficult, and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet.
SPACE: stay 2 metres apart from people you do not live with where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place (such as wearing face coverings).
Our very best wishes and support,
Wolf Fields Team
If your child is about to join us for the first time, or if you already have a child here, we welcome you and hope you find it useful.
Children are very happy, cared for and safe in our exceptional school. With the help from hard working staff, all the children achieve well and do the best they possibly can in our very successful school. As well as learning to read, write and be skilled with numbers, children have opportunities to enjoy a varied programme of sports, arts, music and cultural activities.
We are very proud of our school - our children's achievements, the ambitions of parents and carers and our supportive community. We invite you to take advantage of the many opportunities to come into school for parents'/carers' evenings, special assemblies and special events. We welcome you and are happy to talk to you and show you around our school.
Thank you for visiting!
