Wolf Fields Primary School

‘Worth Opportunity Learning Friendship’

School Covid-19 Information for January 2021

Dear Wolf Fields Parents, Carers and families,

The Government has closed all Schools until further notice.  Your child will receive remote lessons and learning provision from Wednesday 6th January 2021, via Google Classroom and from the School Website (and with paper packs as needed).

Please note that children MUST participate and complete their daily learning, as this is not optional learning.

Please regularly check the School Website and within Google Classroom for learning activities, and we will update you by email and text, and by phone calls to support families, as needed.   Please do not hesitate to phone or email us for support or advice, at any time.  We do appreciate that some families will be struggling with lack of devices or with internet access.

The school will only be open to children of essential workers and vulnerable groups from Wednesday 6th January – and these few children will complete the same lessons and learning provision at school, as all children working from home. This link explains the criteria for children of essential workers and vulnerable groups:  https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision#vulnerable-children-and-young-people

IMPORTANT MESSAGE IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE SCHOOL

  • Email the parent email address (only for parents' use). Your email will be picked up on Monday 4th January.
  • Continue to inform the school via the parent email address if anyone in your household has Covid symptoms, as the school MUST be notified.
  • You can speak to the office staff by phone from Monday 4th January.

Please continue to remain vigilant and keep safe.
